Day 06 - A picture of a person you'd love to trade places with for a day.
So some of you may understand why this blogpost is going to be rated R. And some of you are probably like,
"Who is that jolly looking old fat guy? He looks like Santa."
Well he is Santa, if Santa coached the Washington Capitals and said "fuck" every other word. He is Bruce Boudreau and I love him.
First off, he's from Canada and as you all should know I love the Canadians. Also, he was a hockey player himself and was badass. Well maybe not in his stats, but he was badass to me. 20 years playing professionally. That's awesome.
As a coach, he's turned the Capitals around because before him we were nothing and without a prayer in the world. And while we haven't won the Stanley Cup yet, we will. This is our year and we're playing better than ever. (Note that I am using the first person when I talk about the team because I really feel like I'm apart of them. 'Cause I'm a nerd).
But the best part of Boudreau is that he swears. A lot. And some of you may be like,
"How dare you like swearing so much."
But the thing you don't understand is people thought he was a bit idiot. Just go to youtube and search Bruce Boudreau commercials and see for yourself. Go on! Search!
But then the HBO series "Penguins, Capitals 24/7 Road to the Winter Classic" came out where essentially they just follow the two teams around 24/7 for the games right before their big show down at the Winter Classic (and for you non hockey people, that's not the championship or anything, it's just a big deal because it's played outside). It was then that people started saying that Boudreau is a big jerk because he swears a lot. I just think he's a cool guy.
During games, every time the other team scores the cameras go directly to Boudreau and I don't know why because the first thing out of his mouth is fuck, and the second is shit. And it's not like he mumbles it... he's screaming at the top of his little lungs!
