So my blog name is weird... I know. I mean, who spells out the dots in ".co.uk"? No one, that's who!! Well... except for me.
So I got this name from a British TV show. I'm actually not British. I'm American. But I think I'm British because my stepfather is and his two children who still live in England are awesome. I want to be like them.
The TV show is called "The Catherine Tate Show" and it's classic, dirty, British humor and I love it. Catherine Tate is a comedian and basically she just does different sketches based on characters she's created. Some of them are one-time deals like "I can do that" woman. And the ginger (one of my favorites!)
But the long standing characters are great! And they usually have the same plot. Like her teenager "Lauren" and "You are not going to BELIEVE what I've just done!". All good! But this new character she's made, Georgie, is freaking great!
Georgie and Martin both work in some dinky little office building and every day when she comes in they sing some random song, then she asks how his weekend was. He tells her about something he did with his daughter. Then she totally asks some embarrassing about his daughter. It's awful! And then she asks him if she can borrow something which leads her to tell him about her newest fundraiser. He's obviously really annoyed so you know that this happens often. And usually her and her fellow fundraisers are doing something absolutely ridiculous for something that doesn't even matter. It's hilarious!!! Then she insists that every 38 minutes this particular thing they're trying to fundraise for happens and that he can log on to the website to check. www.SOMETHINGRIDICULOUS.co.uk
